Nintendo only released eight games after revealing the Nintendo Switch 2 this month. However, 28 games, including new and unreleased titles, game ports, and unannounced 2025 game versions, are reportedly on the way to the system. These rumored Nintendo Switch game releases include popular franchises such as Mario, The Legend of Zelda, Super Smash Bros., Star Fox, Final Fantasy, DOOM, Assassin’s Creed, Fallout, Metroid, Metal Gear, Pokemon, Red Dead Redemption, Tekken, Star Wars, Halo, Gears of War, and Diablo.
Mario in Three Dimensions
Although the name and release date were still unknown as of 2023, rumors indicate that Nintendo may release a 3D Mario game this year. This could become another major title for the new system.
Final Fantasy IX Remake
According to recent speculation, Square Enix will only create a Final Fantasy IX remake for the Nintendo Switch 2. If the report is accurate, this remake could become an important title for fans of the series.
The Legend of Zelda Remake/Remaster
According to a leak, Twilight Princess, The Wind Waker, or Ocarina of Time may be released on the Nintendo Switch 2 at the ideal time. Nintendo is apparently working on future Zelda remakes and remasters.
Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater
The same source who initially revealed the Nintendo Switch 2 reveal date also claims that a Nintendo Switch 2 version of Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater will be available when Konami launches the game this year.

Super Smash Bros. Most Recent Iteration
