Prepaid internet plans

Globe Telecom introduced the new GFiber Prepaid internet plans with 100 Mbps fiber options. Globe Telecom designed these new plans with affordability in mind. As a result, users can enjoy dependable, low-latency connections for entertainment and work.

Additionally, the service does not require a 24- or 36-month contract. It works well for smooth 4K streaming, steady video conversations, and quick downloads and uploads of large files. Gamers can also enjoy smooth and lag-free sessions.

The different GFiber Prepaid options may interest many readers. Users can choose plans that last seven days, 30 days, or even a year.

GFiber: What Is It?

For those who are not familiar with it, Globe’s GFiber Prepaid service is a pay-per-use plan. It offers unlimited fiber internet without lock-up periods or monthly fees.

In addition, customers can load their accounts using GCash or the GlobeOne app. Globe also offers “Buy Now, Pay Later” choices.

Since Globe launched its GFiber Prepaid service on July 20, 2023, the company has provided a range of services to meet different user needs. Now, users can enjoy speeds of up to 100 Mbps for seven days at PHP 399 with the new prepaid internet service.

However, users can choose the 30-day package for PHP 1,299 instead. These plans make it easier for users to customize their internet experience based on their needs and budgets.

Additionally, Globe offers a 30-day UNLI internet plan with a 50 Mbps speed cap. Users can purchase this option for just PHP 699.

GFiber Champion: Inexpensive Internet Access in the Philippines

GFiber’s 53% growth in the first quarter of this year shows Globe’s commitment to providing Filipinos with affordable and reloadable UNLI internet. Moreover, the growing popularity of GFiber Prepaid internet plans creates a strong growth opportunity for Globe’s overall broadband revenue.

Compared with 2023, GFP acquisitions increased 52 times during the first nine months of 2024. Meanwhile, GFP continued to grow quickly and reached 146,000 subscribers.

The service also showed strong customer performance. Recharge rates reached an all-time high of 81%. This expansion reflects Globe’s successful customer acquisition approach.

In particular, GFP acquisitions doubled on a quarterly basis. Therefore, these results highlight a strong market need for flexible and affordable prepaid fiber services.

This accomplishment confirms GFiber Prepaid’s position as an offering designed to meet the demands of the prepaid consumer market. Since its launch late last year, many consumers have given GFiber Prepaid positive reviews.

The service has become known for its fully digital experience, reloadable prepaid internet, unlimited data connectivity, flexibility, and dependable service without a lock-in period.

GFiber Prepaid Speed Boost

“With the GFiber Prepaid speed boost, we’re giving our customers the freedom to increase their internet speeds without being tied to a contract,” stated Abigail Cardino, VP and Head of Brand Management for Globe’s Broadband Business.

“This underscores our commitment to providing high-quality, easily accessible internet that caters to the needs of Filipino households.”

In addition to meeting Filipinos’ urgent connectivity needs, Globe is promoting inclusive growth through digitization. The company also aims to reduce the digital gap by offering affordable, dependable, and reloadable UNLI internet services such as GFiber Prepaid internet.
