At CES 2025, Samsung Electronics displays its most recent advances in monitor technology. With features never seen in the market, the company has unveiled the Smart Monitor, Odyssey Samsung Gaming Monitor, and ViewFinity Monitor.
Smart Monitor M9: Efficiency and Entertainment Upgrade your AI
Samsung’s first AI-enabled monitor is the M9. It features AI Picture Optimizer, which analyzes input signals to determine the type of content being seen (video, streaming, or productivity apps), and then automatically adjusts the display settings to provide the optimal visual experience. The AI goes one step further for players by identifying the type of game being played and adjusting visual settings to provide the best possible experience for each playstyle.
Additionally, the M9 has 4K AI Upscaling Pro, which raises lower-resolution content to 4K quality using neural networks and sophisticated AI processing.Regardless of the initial resolution, this function produces incredibly detailed images by evaluating incoming signals and pre-existing image data.
The Samsung Odyssey Series
The 2025 Odyssey OLED G8 and G6 models in the Odyssey gaming monitor series deliver performance that leads the industry in new sizes. Even in hectic gaming settings, both models provide a response time of 0.03 ms GTG for fluid graphics and clear gameplay. Additionally, they are NVIDIA G-SyncTM compliant and support AMD FreeSyncTM Premium Pro, which enables them to produce images with reduced flickering and tearing. OLED Glare Free screens keep the focus on the game by minimizing distracting reflections and glare, while VESA DisplayHDRTM True Black 400 maximizes the OLED panel by producing rich darks without bloom or color bleed.
The Odyssey OLED G8 (model number G81SF)
This 27″ 4K (3,840 x 2,160) OLED gaming monitor is the first of its kind in the world. The screen has a refresh rate of 240 Hz and 165 pixels per inch (PPI). Game developers and players may create and explore realistic gaming worlds with a new degree of detail and visual quality thanks to the pixel density and screen smoothness.
Odyssey OLED G6 (model number G60SF)
With its 500 Hz refresh rate, the QHD (2,560 x 1,440) screen redefines speed and establishes a new benchmark. Gamers that need power can benefit from the lightning-fast speed and incredibly smooth gameplay, which gives them a competitive advantage.
ViewFinity S8
The largest 16:9 4K display available today is the 37″ ViewFinity S8 (S80UD variant). Its screen, which is around 34% bigger than the one on the previous model, optimizes efficiency, productivity, and immersion. This model ushers in a new era of huge, high-productivity Samsung monitors by maximizing desk space by displaying more information at a look.
TÜV Rheinland has certified the 2025 ViewFinity S8 as a “Ergonomic Workspace Display,” acknowledging its ergonomic design that improves productivity, task efficiency, and work immersion. By modifying the color temperature according to the lighting conditions of the surrounding area, TÜV-certified Intelligent Eye Care lessens eye fatigue even during extended use. Additionally, a flicker-free feature and eye saver mode shield the eyes from strain.
